The Brown Bunch

Sunday was a very special day for me. I celebrated my very first Mother's day as a mommy. We were on the road for most of the weekend and Jake had a hard time finding the gift that I asked for, but it was still a perfect day. I got to spend the day with my precious son and the rest of our family. What more could I ask for? Thanks to Aunt Linda and Unk Wayne for Jake's Mother's Day outfit. Isn't it precious? Jake's cousin Alex is turning 4 and he had a circus party to celebrate. This was Jake's first party invite and he was very excited. Jake even wore a pair of Alex's hand-me-down overalls to celebrate this momentous event. Isn't he adorable? Jake loved the clowns! Kate begged to hold Jake. Jake was a little anti-social during the party. He slept most of the time instead of playing games with the clowns. Maybe next year he will want to participate. Jake loves his Aunt Julie!

Some people like to ruin their own parties. Well, I guess Jake is going to be one of those people. We were supposed to have a baby shower for Jake on April 6 th , but he decided to come a little early. Instead, we had to make it a meet and greet for Jake on May 3rd. Amanda and Renee hosted the party. Jake and I were so blessed to get some wonderful things that we needed. Here are just a few pics...
