The Brown Bunch

My aunt and cousins hosted a family shower for Baby Jake. We got lots of wonderful things that will come in handy when Jake decides to come. One thing is for sure: Jake will never have to go naked. :-) Hannah wasn't too sure about all of the people at the shower, but I got lots of good practice. There will be no one that Jake loves more than his mommy! Wow! What a belly! I'm so thankful that Nanny Shewbert will be here to meet Baby Jake. She gave him his first Bible and even wrote a special message that we will frame. Mamew and her granddaughters (plus her 2 new great-grandbabies are in there too.) Can you find them?

The Crazy Girls hosted my first shower. The weather wasn't very cooperative, but it was a nice, laid-back, snowy day. I wnjoyed being able to spend time with some of my oldest and dearest friends. I also got some very nice things for Baby Jake. Check out the pictures to see all of our goodies. When we got home, Jason unloaded all of our presents like Santa had come. Becky and Holly made Jake his first birthday cake out of diapers and other necessities. Aunt Allyson gave Jake his first stroller. Doesn't Bonnie Kay look cute in it? She thought she'd try it out for Jake since her parents would never buy her a UGA stroller. :-) 2 1/2 generations. I love wearing black because it hides the huge belly!
